This video is really a tribute to my new heroin of the century! Her name is Paula Flowe and she fights for children’s right to go to school without fear of being hit with a paddle. Paula has been spending her own time and money to travel around the country raising awareness of this abuse which is legalized in 21 US states. Together with myself and her many supporters, we believe that we will see an end to corporal punishment in the entire USA, but Paula needs your help. Join Paula in …

I know plenty of kids that might behave if they got a good spanking. How come society was much more orderly and behaved better when chrildren were spanked? The fact that discipline has gone out the window might have something to do with the breakdown of society. This is a ridiculuous video.

Your screen name seems to describe you well. Perhaps you, as an adult, could use a good ass whipping, but clearly that wouldn’t knock any sense into your head. Here in IL, if I hit my dog with a paddle, I go to jail. So you’re saying that 21 states in the USA should continue offering children less rights than dogs here in IL? You’re ridiculous!

Child discipline is the parents responsibility, the schools in my state don’t resort to using violence and tampon cramming bigot sticks to “discipline” they use their common sense, which apparently you lack. Paula Flowe is a hero to children who have been beaten by overly eager, abusive school staff. It’s really ignorant to dismiss her cause because your dumb ass got beaten and it didn’t hurt you. Apparently it did, because you have no brain now dude! You’re just plain stupid and dont know it.

My 12 yr old son has his 2nd black belt in tae kwon doe. Woe be unto the idiotic school staff member who raises a hand or paddle to him, because they will have their neck broken before they can touch him. I would love to take a paddle to each and every teacher or principal who has used one on a kid to show them exactly how badly it can hurt. Tampon cramming bigot sticks have no place in our tax funded schools. Can’t teach anti violence with violence.

Chaz, You really shouldn’t use profanity or the “tampon cramming” reference. Though I don’t agree with you, I think that people would take you more seriuosly if you used dignified language.

Paula Flowe is the professional with the college degree who deals with this matter according to her social status. I am a pop singer with a radio show that gets thousands of listeners who expect me to keep it real in my own way, and in the grown up world I live in, that includes profanity. I could give two shits if you agree with me or not. The day I allow a self proclaimed nutcase to dictate how I present myself and my opinions is the day I call it quits. Fuck you very much!

I am not questioning your right to take a stand or your passion about the issue, Chaz. And regarding Paula Flowe’s degree and social status, I am sure that she does have a higher degree and social standing, just as I do (and maybe you do too) but you are missing the point. You don’t have any respect for people who disagree with you and you don’t have any regard that people who might even agree with you don’t want to hear you talk nasty. I’ll sign this time as Dr. Nutcase to reflect my degree.

I tell you what Dr. Nutcase, You do things your way and I’ll do them mine. I find my way to be quite effective and in keeping with the way I express myself as an artist and a DJ and an activist. There are many videos on youtube regarding this topic and anyone who doesn’t appreciate the way I present my side of the argument can move on with the click of a mouse. I have no respect for anyone who condones school corporal punishment, so I don’t feel the need to pretend that I do.

Dear Nutcase,
Please visit The Hitting Stops Here d Comm and read “Statistics and Graphs,” (found near top right) and Plain Talk about Spanking (listed under “Resources”).
Discipline is necessary.
Beating a child is not.
Please educate yourself and participate in educating others on what it will take to have a society that learns to solve EVERY conflict through peaceful means.
Thank you,
Paula Flowe

Discipline does not equal violence and sadistic child abuse (hitting children). Discipline means to teach, not to hit.

Your anecdote just proves that violence begets violence. Hitting children is cruel, inhumane, hypocritical, and sadistic.

Selective enforcement in this issue just goes to show that the privileged get yet another pass due to social status.Black girls get paddled 2X over white girls, along with other stats. CP is widespread in the US Virgin Islands. Along with the beatings, a special need kid’s mouth was duct taped shut here on St. John. I am speaking at 2 forums this month and will raise this issue whether people want to hear it or not. ThehittingstopshereDOT com. Educate thyself or sit at the back of the bus!

I am for paddling, I got plenty of it and I don’t want to see other kids get a break when I didn’t. Later on in life, I enjoyed the paddlings and they kept me out of trouble.
One benefit was that teen erections caused me more embarassment than a board to my ass ever did. When I was raping chics with my eyes in High School and the mighty, mighty Mu-shyoob was making a tent in my trousers, a good hard smack on my ass with Mr. Moorer’s paddle saved my virtue and self esteem.

Violence in the world today starts with parents who continue the horrible abuse they received as children. Can’t we start a school class on parenting in every single school all over the world to teach kids how to discipline their kids properly later on when they have kids or demand every new parent to attend a parenting seminar before their first child is born — there are 9 months for them to learn the right way to raise a child after all.
